A study of perturbed vibration on a square membrane using standard perturbation theory is conducted. It is shown that uneven distribution of mass on the membrane would result in a different shape of vibration. This, in turn, resulted in a change in frequency. Both of these can be described using perturbation theory. Hence, a computer is used to draw the shape of the vibration
